Job Description

The Faena House Butler is an elite service professional who will engage with homeowners and residents on a one-on-one basis in their personal space. The candidate selected must possess eloquence, warmth, professionalism, and also hold the ability to perform physical tasks. Some of the duties of the Faena House Butler wil include but are not limited to:

  • Shoe-shine upon resident request.
  • Press clothes upon resident request.
  • Take up resident dry cleaning.
  • Deliver groceries and packages in a timely manner.
  • Deliver mail upon resident request and to all in-house residents on Sundays.
  • Walkthrough of all landings.
  • Assist with trash removal from landings and break down boxes.
  • Notify maintenance, housekeeping, and management of any punch list items.
  • Check the chiller plant and roof for unusual activity.
  • Check the 3rd floor amenity level -- restock with water and towels.
  • Check the gym and movement studio periodically for cleanliness.
  • Check the male/female spa and ensure the sauna and steam room are working correctly.
  • Check for packages with the front desk and security and deliver them to units in a timely manner.
  • Assist valet and front desk during rush hour.
  • Honor ad hoc requests of residents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility in a safe and satisfactory manner, and the individual must be punctual and have a good attendance record, and have reliable means of transportation to wor

Education/Experience/Knowledge:

  • Minimum 1-2 yeasr Front Desk experience
  • Hospitality experience preferred or College level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
  • Intermediate at minimum computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Multiple language fluency is desirable.
  • Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Special Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 30 -- 50 lbs.
  • Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time
  • Handle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages
  • Reach with hands and arms
  • Communicate, receive and exchange information by means of the spoken and written word
  • Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions
  • Complete all required forms.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirement.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies on a timely manner.
