The Business Development Representative is responsible for selling technology and/or other SaaS-based services over the phone, by email and via web-based presentations. You will manage a client book and proactively seek out new business opportunities as well as ensuring client satisfaction and retention. You will assist in the development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.
As a BDR, you are part of a Sales team focused on educating and helping our customers understand the value of the FRONTSTEPS product. We are a team and function as a team. We develop the relationships with our customers with a value selling approach giving our customers insight into how FRONTSTEPS makes their business better and more efficient.
This position is full-time on-site in the Denver headquarters office.
Job Responsibilities
- Outbound calls to existing & prospective clients daily. You should be comfortable spending 6-7 hours of your day on the phone
- Hold business value discussions with customers by demonstrating our product showing ROI
- Review current value and account billings with existing customers
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential clients
- Manage, organize, and update contacts in Salesforce
- Maintain integrity with business process, policies, and procedures
- Available for scheduled hours of Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent 3-5 years of work experience
- 0 - 2 years of Sales Experience
- See every "No" as an opportunity for a "YES"!
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications, Salesforce.com, and other software platforms to perform day-to-day responsibilities
- High attention to detail
- Ability to receive coaching and work as a team
- Adaptable and dependable
- B2B Sales experience a plus
- SaaS Sales experience a plus
Salary for this position is $60,000 base plus commissions.
