Summary The Business Development Director is responsible for creating and executing sales activities to support the profitability objectives of Hammersmith® and assisting with implementation of the company’s initiatives to build the brand and increase opportunities for selling ancillary services.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the Company’s effort to acquire new client Associations in the areas of Portfolio, Mid/High Rise, Large Scale, Metro Districts and Developer Communities
  • Target/Territory management and development
  • Achieve sales goals and manage expenses
  • Attend and participate in client, Hammersmith®, and industry meetings and events
  • Support of Hammersmith® strategic objectives
  • Plus other work related tasks as needed

Education and Experience

 

  • Homeowners Association industry knowledge and experience desirable
  • Minimum five years sales experience with measurable track record
  • Minimum of Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CMCA®, AMS®, or PCAM® designations preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred

 

Performance Standards

 

  • Meet and/or exceed budgeted revenue goals
  • Create and maintain on-going stream of new prospects
  • Track all potential clients and the status of the sales process for each
  • Report in an accurate, clear, and timely manner using the CRM software
  • Provide clear, professional, and timely communication with Board Members, Committee Members, and Team Members
  • Fully qualify clients, including internal bid requests
  • Work in partnership with all Team Members to achieve the goals and standards of Hammersmith

 

Compensation $70,000-$80,000 + commission
