Action seeks a full-time Building Engineer II to join our team at Woodside homeowners association in Sacramento.
Known as Sacramento's best-loved gated community, Woodside is a large-scale residential urban park community that combines the best of both worlds: nature and city. At Woodside, Residents can enjoy the tranquility of living among more than 3,000 trees on a sprawling 56-acre property, access the city's finest restaurants and shops, and enjoy a variety of amenities and activities.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Lead and maintain a team of Maintenance Technicians
- Oversee the maintenance and repairs of common areas within the Association, ensuring compliance with governing documents.
- Manage the daily operations, ensuring adherence to HOA policies and regulatory standards.
- Optimizing the performance of the communities building mechanical systems such as electrical, plumbing, fire safety, HVAC
- Preventative Maintenance
- Oversee and manage community repair and enhancement projects
- Respond to community maintenance emergencies
Who You Are (Skills / Experience)
- Minimum of 7 years of onsite building engineer experience, preferably in property management, hospitality, or commercial property management.
- Familiar with the Uniform Commercial Building Code
- HOA experience is a plus
- Hands on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting experience.
- Fire system management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Team player attitude
- Must be available by cell phone 24/7 for emergencies
Certifications / Licenses
- HVAC Certification
- EPA/608 License
- Fire Pump Certificate preferred
- Fire Life Safety Director Certificate preferred
- Valid California Driver's License and Auto Insurance
$90,000 - $95,000 a year
M-F business hours plus available after hours for emergencies
