Job Summary
The Building Engineer is responsible for maintaining, correcting deficiencies, and/or making repairs to all "common areas" within the Association, as defined in the Associations governing documents. The Building Engineer shall oversee and coordinate the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all necessary building systems, and shall possess a basic understanding of all systems servicing standard residential units.
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Compensation: $32.00- $35.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee all facets of the daily operations of the building, ensuring compliance with HOA policies and regulations as required by code and regulatory agencies.
Monitor and maintain optimum performance of all building systems to include mechanical, electrical/electronic, fire life safety, smoke control, security, HVAC and water circulation systems.
Interact with external contractors, vendors, and homeowners.
Understanding of preventative maintenance.
Collaborate with Chief Building Engineer to improve systems on the property.
Requirements
On-site experience in luxury high rise.
HOA experience is a plus.
Familiar with boiler and HVAC repairs.
Experience in High Rise Fire Life Safety.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Team player attitude.
Certifications/Licenses:
HVAC Certification preferred.
EPA/608 License preferred.
Fire Pump Certificate preferred.
High Rise Fire Life Safety preferred
