Location: Hollywood, FL
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday 9am to 5:30pm
Starting pay: $20

FirstService Residential is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to join the Accounts Receivable team at our Fairfax, VA Office
Primary Responsibilities: Processing of accounts receivable functions for a portfolio of clients while providing excellent customer service
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain assessment account information in accounting system and on proprietary software
- Responding to and closing open calls related to assessment account inquiries
- Research accounts and correspond with owners as necessary
- Prepare and process transfer and refund requests as necessary
- Late fee waiver request processing and tracking
- Handle ACH enrollment
- Post charges and/or credits as necessary
- Order/print coupons, statements, etc. and track for billing purposes
- Filing (Digitally and Physically)
- Handle communication related to assessment accounts and document in proprietary software as necessary
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working on the AR team
- Strong communications skills (i.e., conversational skills and writing skills)
- Strong computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong reasoning and analytical skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
