Turn on your Island Charm... Latitude Margaritaville Daytona Beach is looking for a Beach Club Attendant to join our team!
Job Summary
The Latitude Beach Club Attendant is responsible to oversee the Pool & Beach area, make safety announcements, and set up chairs and keep areas well maintained for Residents and Guests to use at all times. Will serve residents by providing information and services during hours of operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists with set up and breakdown for poolside & beach chairs
- Must be service oriented, and know HOA rules and policies as they pertain to the Beach Club.
- Picks up debris from the pool & beach and keep the area tidy.
- Checks equipment, games, and sporting goods are in working order for resident use.
- Work cohesively with all staff members and communicate effectively with residents.
- Set up poolside and beach chairs for residents
- Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
- Keep Bathrooms, Tiki bar, and poolside areas neat and clean.
- Assist Residents with services and reminders of rules.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.
- Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility
- No supervisory responsibilities.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
- Completion of College level courses in Hospitality is strongly desirable.
Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies
- Effective written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
Tools & Equipment Used
- Cleaning supplies (mop, broom)
- Computers, Sound Equipment, Reservation System, wagons, shovels, drills.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time
- Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment
- Reach with hands and arms
- Communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word
- Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions
- Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
