BARTENDER - Trilogy at Monarch Dunes (Nipomo, CA)

The Bartender coaches staff, prepares, and serves beverages and food to guests seated at the bar, in the restaurant or on the patio according to company standards. Apply today for our Bartender positions, and Lead availability.

Applicant must be 21 years of age to comply with the State of California law.

The Bartender must have a Food Handlers Card and must complete the Alcohol Awareness Training Program.

Pay Rate $16.00-$20.00 Hourly/PLUS TIPS (Depending on Experience.)

DUTIES:

• Greets guests upon arrival in an energetic and friendly fashion.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and/or waiters/waitresses.
• Requests identification from customers when legal age is questioned.
• Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Serves wine and draft or bottled beer.
• Collects money for drinks served.
• Prepares food and beverages, to-go orders and orders placed from guests seated at the bar.
• Takes inventory and ensures proper levels of storage of all liquors and supplies.
• Purchases or requisitions liquors and supplies while maintaining quality within proper price points.
• Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display.
• Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Replenishes bar snacks such as pretzels, nuts, and various snack mixes.
• Cleans tabletops/chairs and ensures neat and sanitized appearance.
• Answers incoming food and beverage telephone calls and directs them to the appropriate person or takes a message.
• Prepares beverages, supplies and other bar setups for banquets and other functions.
  
  

The Bartender will aid servers as it relates to compliance with California Liquor Laws. By this he/she helps ensure that minors are not served alcoholic beverages on our licensed premises. **Applicant must be 21 years of age to comply with the State of California law.**
