Job Posting: Assistant Property Manager – Twin Ridge Apartments

Location: Twin Ridge Apartments, Baltimore, MD

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: Starting at $55,000 annually

Twin Ridge is seeking a customer-focused, proactive, and self-motivated Assistant Property Manager to join our team! This individual will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of all three properties under the guidance of the Property Manager. The ideal candidate will assist with leasing, resident services, and overall community management. Previous experience in residential property management is preferred, and experience in student housing is a plus.

Essential Functions

  • Supervise the leasing process for each community, ensuring all documentation is completed and maintained according to company procedures.
  • Develop and execute strategies to retain residents and optimize occupancy rates.
  • Manage fiscal budget compliance, ensuring all operations align with the approved budget.
  • Market the apartment community to enhance curb appeal and attract prospective tenants; assess the competition and implement strategies to minimize vacancies.
  • Oversee community maintenance operations, working closely with the maintenance team to ensure quality unit turnovers and timely resolution of maintenance issues.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, ensuring responsive communication and maintaining confidence in the community’s cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards.
  • Maintain professional relationships with team members, applicants, visitors, and external partners.
  • Model company values and enforce policies to create a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in residential property management is preferred; experience in student housing is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents and staff.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of property management software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata) is a plus.
  • Ability to manage budgets, supervise staff, and ensure the operational success of the property.
