Action is seeking a Full-Time Assistant General Manager for our Cottonwood Canyon Hills community in Lake Elsinore.

Compensation: $26 to $27 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, some late meetings once or twice a month.

Job Summary

Support the General Manager in critical association operations, serving as the second-in-command and often assuming the Manager on Duty role in their absence. Collaborate closely with the General Manager to maintain a cohesive and efficient team dynamic.

What You’ll Do (Job Duties)

  • Supervise onsite staff, ensuring they are well-informed, trained, and adhere to Association and Property Management policies.
  • Assist with Board Packets
  • Support the General Manager with general contractors and vendors on large-scale repair and maintenance projects to ensure project scope, milestones, and expenses meet expectations.
  • Monthly billing
  • Monthly newsletters
  • Assist with the architectural application process
  • Occasional filing
  • Creating work orders for the appropriate vendor, following up on the status of work orders, and updating notes.
  • Be available to address after-hour emergency matters
  • Secure vendor estimates/bids, schedule work, and track progress of all maintenance and repair items
  • Participate in ongoing- training and professional development
  • Additional duties as assigned

Who You Are (Skills/Experience)

  • Minimum four (4) years’ experience in office administration and property management. Superior knowledge of various computer software programs.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience with basic office equipment and maintenance requirements.
  • Experience with accounting procedures.
  • Familiarity with Association management including basic understanding of CC&R’s, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, etc.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with the Board of Directors, General Manager, employees, residents, guests, committees, and the general public and resolve conflicts and problems courteously and tactfully.
  • Ability to gather, analyze and evaluate facts timely and to prepare and present concise oral and written reports and make formal presentations before groups. Knowledge of proper English, spelling and vocabulary usage.
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Outlook Contact Management systems; Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Polished and professional communication and presentation.
  • Proactive in service and passionate about excellence.

$26 - $27 an hour
