Job Description

We are seeking a part-time Code Enforcement Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the enforcement of rules and regulations per the governing documents in a premiere community. This position is located near Calabash, NC.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Handle all aspects of the Architectural Review Process
  • Attend ARC meeting and take meeting minutes
  • Work closely with the ARC committee to provide and obtain information related to applications
  • Processes ARC violations per the Rules and Regulations of the community
  • Provides information by answering homeowner questions relating to violations and escalates questions that require attention from management when applicable
  • Maintains and updates photos and files in Software as well as hard copies
  • Educates homeowners on regulations
  • Represents the company and communities by maintaining a professional and positive appearance and demeanor while working
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and communicating and coordinating with staff members

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent computer skills
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) proficiently
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills/detail oriented
  • Knowledge of compliance management and regulatory reporting preferred
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation as travel within the community is required
  • Must have a valid SC driver’s license
  • Must pass a background check and drug test

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, kneel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, crawl, talk, hear, push, pull, grasp, use hands and fingers, climb, have clear vision and lift up to 25 pounds.
