Our team is growing and we’re seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to handle the oversight of transactional day-to-day processes, monthly A/R processes and training of employees.
What You Will Accomplish
- Supervise the daily process of banking exception payments, return item notifications and payment processing
- Oversite and monitoring of team shared inboxes
- AR Associate, Legal Ledger, Refunds, Waivers, Payment Research
- Account Issue Resolution
- Assist employees with general process questions
- Review and complete research requests related to account balances
- Assist staff with escalated owner issues
- Ensures adequate and continuous training for employees as well as training of new employees
- Identification of training needs; assist manager with implementation of universal team training
- Process and procedure implementation with staff
- Refund Process
- Final approver on residential refund requests
- Backup contact for all escalated processes
- Personnel Oversight Responsibilities
- Manages team performance levels
- Leads employee performance review (annual and monthly meetings)
- Leads compensation and salary discussions
- Corrective action stages, as necessary
- Interview, hire and onboarding of new team members
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office application
- A minimum of two years accounts receivable experience
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Collaborative leadership style with critical thinking skills
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with accounts receivable staff, community managers, and financial services team members
- Strong customer service skills
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ supervisory and training experience along with experience in the Homeowners Association industry
- Requires occasional time commitment outside of regular working hours
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
