Service Technician – Oakwood Hills Apartments

Location: Mechanicsburg, PA

Starting Rate: $23-25/hour (based on experience) + phone allowance

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with on-call availability

Oakwood Hills Apartments is seeking a skilled and dependable Service Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for completing maintenance requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new residents. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in residential maintenance is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Prepare apartments for move-in, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Handle general maintenance tasks, including appliance repair.
• Maintain property grounds to ensure cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.
  
  

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Availability for on-call emergencies during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  
  

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience required.
