We are looking for an outgoing, friendly, and energetic Support Specialist to join our team! This person will be primarily responsible for the overall operations of the Mail Room.
Responsibilities:
- Processes outgoing mail, which includes operating the automated mail inserter for folding, stuffing material into envelopes, weighing and application of correct postage with utilization of various postage meter equipment.
- Process print jobs with noted specifications in a timely manner, constantly monitor the quality of the finished product. Use copy room equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Machine setup and operation. Setup, monitor, and maintain inkjet systems when applicable
- Be responsible for general maintenance of the mailroom machines. Submit work orders as necessary.
- Maintain mail room supply inventory and replenish as necessary.
- Keep mail room organized and clean.
- Maintain mail room logs
- Assist with sorting and delivery of incoming mail to correct personnel/department.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to proficiently utilize computer programs and company database systems, including MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook), internet, e-mail.
- Ability to interact and work positively and effectively with staff at all levels.
- Partners with support staff and management to effectively manage the front reception area and assist with various administrative projects during any downtime or as directed by Supervisor.
- Ability to handle confidential information with proper discretion.
- Recording, scanning, indexing and filing both paper and electronic documents per company procedures.
- Provide leadership as required
- Follows all company policies and procedures
- Willingness to train in other departments.
- Plus other work related tasks as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Power Point).
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
$18.00 to 19.00 hour based on education and experience
