ACCOUNTANT – Seven Canyons Golf (Sedona, AZ)

 

HOAMCO has an immediate opening for a full-time detail-oriented Accountant, at our beautiful property, Seven Canyons Golf located in majestic Sedona, AZ. We are seeking an innovative accountant to add to our team. This role requires an ambitious and dedicated individual with a consistent track record of producing and managing timely and high-quality work within tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have general accounting experience, excellent computer skills, working knowledge of Jonas software, superior customer service skills, be detail-oriented.

Qualifications And Skills

 

  • Degree in Accounting or 3-5 years of experience
  • Detail-oriented and excellent attention to detail and follow-up
  • Able to prioritize daily duties
  • Experience or familiarity with Jonas
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and effectively communicate with all staff levels
  • Dependable, organized, motivated, and trustworthy
  • Superior customer service skills and a great attitude
  • Experience handling accounting for a restaurant or golf club (preferred, not mandatory)

 

Job Duties

 

  • Review your own work for completeness and accuracy
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and bank reconciliations
  • Maintain, monitor, and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and process homeowner assessment statements
  • Analyze and prepare monthly financial statements
  • Interact with General Manager and Board members to answer accounting questions
  • Research and resolve basic accounting issues
  • Perform other month-end close activities, and other job-related duties, when needed
