Job Description

The Activities Director's duty is to ensure that people enjoy sports, fitness, and leisure facilities to the fullest extent.

Requirements

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the seasonal strategy of tiered events at the resort.
  • Be the catalyst that inspires and champions the ideation of all social calendar ideas, as well as a driver in the creation of events for F&B, exercise and off-site activities working with the Social Committee.
  • Develop and ensure execution of relevant and engaging events.
  • Responsible for the coordination with vendors/partners as required, and clear expectation setting with applicable departments.
  • Responsible for executing the set-up with owner volunteers, and tear down of all events
  • Responsible for gathering owner/guest feedback to evolve events. Successfully track, communicate, pre- and post-event P&L for all events.
  • Implement a thorough and consistent strategy to best communicate activities scheduled at the resort via all channels (in-person, email, social media, resort website, etc.)
  • Market, promote, and advertise events and programs through social media, email, website, and print collateral displayed around the resort.
  • Advanced knowledge working with Microsoft Office Suite, Facebook, and Instagram platforms, and strong technical literacy with the ability to work in multiple systems.
  • High energy and outgoing personality.
  • Organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience of 2 – 4+ Years in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing Communications, or Customer Relations.
  • Prefer experience in one or more of the following: membership associations, events, hospitality, sales, relationship management, marketing, food beverage operations, customer service, and/or fundraising.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Associates Degree preferred
  • 0 – 3 years of directly related or closely related experience

Working Conditions

  • Non-Typical office environment (frequent standing, walking, talking, etc.), both inside activities and outside activities.

Rate of pay: $28.00 an hour.
