Summary: Provides financial, administrative, and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are controlled. Receives, processes, verifies, and reconciles invoices; processes payments; addresses vendor inquiries; maintains records according to established policies and procedures.

Requirements
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and maintains all vendor communication and correspondence, including reviewing and processing invoices and disbursements. Preparing various reports, monitoring critical payment lists, and verifying vendor statements.
- Matches purchase orders to invoices and enter and file all invoices.
- Resolves any purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies by researching documentation, issuing stop payments, adjustments, and/or interfacing with vendors and appropriate staff.
- Pays invoices and reconciles processed work. Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers.
- Maintains accounting records and ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions into the computer system. Maintains accounting department files and records. Assists with month-end and year-end closing, and financial statement preparation.
- Ensure all invoices are coded correctly for GL accounts.
- Interact professionally with management.
- Processes tax payments and mails out returns.
- Maintain, organize, and file as needed.

- Any additional job duties as required by the supervisor.
Qualification Requirements
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer telephone skills.
- Possess strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel).
- Ability to work in a high-volume position.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Education And/or Experience
- 1 year of experience working in an Accounting related role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
