Job Description

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Analyst analyzes accounts payable transactions to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Maintains and reconciles accounts payable ledger and prepares management reports. Analyze and resolve discrepancies in billing and payments and recommends improvements to accounts payable policies and procedures. Process payments and respond to vendor inquiries.
- Audit Specialist entries for accuracy.
- Maintain Rent Tracker for updates and changes.
- Manage the [email protected]
- Maintain Recurring Vendor Sheet to ensure all invoices are received and marked accordingly, and ensuring all new vendors are updated.
- Month End Closing – Review of 14330/14320, 2110/20115, 12020
- Maintain EFT Sheet for updates and accurate payments.
- Plus other work related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- 2-3 Years Accounts Payable experience (preferably full-cycle) or accounting experience.
- Degree preferred.
- Bank Reconciliation Experience
- Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software.
- Knowledge of internal control systems and concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Ability to use professional judgment and problem solving skills to make reasonable decisions and recommendations.
- Ability to exhibit patience while working under stress and pressure.
- Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter.
- Ability to be a forward thinker and generate ideas and suggestions for process improvement.
- Ability to critically analyze data and work processes.
- Strong computer skills.
- 10-Key (minimum 13K).
- Professional written and verbal communication.
- MS Windows and Outlook proficient.
- Plus other work related tasks as needed
Pay and Benefits:
$22.00 to $26.50, depending on education and experience.
