Job Description

The Accounting coordinator is an administrative support position in a fast-paced accounting services environment providing financial administrative services to community associations.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Approved budget mailer tracker to prepare annual billing
  • Track, enter and maintain annual billing, create billing forms for complex HOAs
  • Track annual audit completion, AJEs recorded in system & tax payments made by tax team
  • Communicate with various departments on current action items.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
  • Professional customer service skills.
  • Update personnel with any association-related changes or updates to policies
  • Knowledge of client accounting.
  • Manage transition in new clients with setting up bank accounts, assist CAMs with closing PM bank accounts
  • Evaluate, analyze, and prioritize data in various forms and formats.
  • Track transition out closing bank accounts
  • Assist with Positive Pay, Unknown checks & NSF overdraft bank notifications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitiveinquiries.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Able to manage multiple entities with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Willingness to grow and take on new projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.
