Responsibilities
The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for:
- Client billing for services performed outside the service level agreements
- Adjusting homeowner accounts as directed by the Operations team or VP of Accounting
- Manage Special Assessment billing and receipts for various communities
- Assist in Accounts Payable Workflow processing
- Set up and maintain vendors on Electronic Auto Pay
- Manage unapplied payment and unmatched transaction queues for GrandManors
- Process improvement recommendations and implementation
- Manual owner billing as needed for non-routine assessments or projects
- Coordinate with other Shared Service teams to ensure the GrandManors Accounting team has up to date information on audits, tax returns, banking configurations and other items
- Plus other work related items as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Associates degree required
- Pass an accounting exam administered by our in-house recruiting team
- Willing to learn new software and various state legislation that applies to common interest realty associations
- Teamwork Perspective
- The desire to have fun in the workplace while meeting and exceeding expectations
- Experience and desire for working remote (from home) is a plus
- Customer Wowing attitude
Pay and Benefits:
$52,000 to $62,000, depending on education and experience.
