Responsibilities

The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Client billing for services performed outside the service level agreements
  • Adjusting homeowner accounts as directed by the Operations team or VP of Accounting
  • Manage Special Assessment billing and receipts for various communities
  • Assist in Accounts Payable Workflow processing
  • Set up and maintain vendors on Electronic Auto Pay
  • Manage unapplied payment and unmatched transaction queues for GrandManors
  • Process improvement recommendations and implementation
  • Manual owner billing as needed for non-routine assessments or projects
  • Coordinate with other Shared Service teams to ensure the GrandManors Accounting team has up to date information on audits, tax returns, banking configurations and other items
  • Plus other work related items as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Associates degree required
  • Pass an accounting exam administered by our in-house recruiting team
  • Willing to learn new software and various state legislation that applies to common interest realty associations
  • Teamwork Perspective
  • The desire to have fun in the workplace while meeting and exceeding expectations
  • Experience and desire for working remote (from home) is a plus
  • Customer Wowing attitude

Pay and Benefits:

$52,000 to $62,000, depending on education and experience.
