Job Description: Accounting Administrator - Veer Towers, Las Vegas

Overview: Veer Towers, located in the heart of Las Vegas, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Administrator to oversee financial operations for its luxury high-rise condo association management. This position requires a thorough understanding of accounting principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive financial information.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing and collection of association fees, fines, and other ancillary income.
  • Monitor budget variances and report on financial performance to management.
  • Ability to investigate financial variances and discrepancies
  • Bookkeeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Partner with association accountant to prepare accurate financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
  • Process reclass, journal entries, and other transactions
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets in collaboration with management.
  • Track expenses and revenue against budgeted figures.
  • Provide financial projections and analysis as needed.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist with audits and financial reviews by preparing necessary documentation.
  • Generate financial reports for board meetings and management updates.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Assist in administrative tasks related to financial operations.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for financial records and documents.
  • Respond to inquiries from homeowners and management regarding financial matters.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in accounting or financial management, preferably in property management, hospitality or real estate environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • CPA certification or progress towards CPA.
  • Experience with luxury condominium associations or property management.
  • Understanding of Unit Owner Associaion regulations and governance.
